Ladies and Gentlemen,


It is time to solicit nominations for several officer positions for the SAOA. 
As you will recall, last year, the membership approved a change to the bylaws to stagger the election of the association’s officers.  Accordingly, there are four officer positions up for election for the 2019-2020 season (President, Treasurer, Availability Chairman – BB, and Availability Chairman – FB).


The current holders of these offices are:
President – Kevin Poore 
Treasurer – Bob Brendel 
Availability Chairman – BB – Terry Gallaher 
Availability Chairman – FB – Jason Unverzagt 

The first step in the election process is to solicit nominations for each of the offices from the members.  In accordance with the association’s bylaws, each active member of the association who is in good standing is given the opportunity to nominate individuals whom they feel will make a good officer. A member may nominate himself or herself for an office.

In order to make a nomination, please send an e-mail to regarding the nomination you wish to make for a particular office. Nominations are due no later than April 30, 2019 (unless the board elects to extend such deadline). Once all nominations are received, we will pass them along to the committee of the board in charge of ensuring that nominated persons would be willing to serve in the respective offices.
